Our Story
Founded in Nairobi in 2008, One Boy Productions (OBP) has grown into a trusted production partner for regional, Pan-African, and international projects. Serving as a gateway for productions seeking reliable, on-the-ground expertise in East Africa, we combine deep local and regional knowledge with international standards to manage every aspect of film, television, commercials, documentaries, and digital content. We don’t just provide infrastructure — we provide a partnership built on trust, expertise, and a passion for storytelling, delivering seamless logistical coordination, production management, and full production support.
What We Do
OBP provides professional on-the-ground support (fixer services) and production
management for shoots across East Africa, guiding projects from pre-production
through execution for film, television, commercials, documentaries, and other
creative media.
Our services include:
* Film permits, licenses, and government liaison
* Temporary work permits for cast and crew
* Equipment customs clearance and rental coordination
* Location scouting and management
* Casting, local crew sourcing, and on-set coordination
* Transportation, accommodation, and catering
* Welfare and support services
* Security coordination where required
* Pre-production support, including budgets, schedules, and production coordination
In addition to production support, OBP is fully equipped to produce commissioned
content, including feature and short films, documentaries, corporate videos,
TV dramas and shows, commercials, music videos, animation, reality shows, and
stills photography.
